CellarMate Installation:
Call your CellarMate distributor for details
REQUIREMENTS:
Mounting area not to exceed 90F degrees
Duct runs not to exceed 25’ (supply or return)
(If longer runs are required, more than one supply duct is required to reduce air flow in each duct by half. Booster fans can then be used to maintain rated cfm for each specific model.
CONSIDERATIONS:
Leave space to access unit for repairs
Sound-damping tile in mounting area lowers unit sound
Placement of supply and return grilles in wine cellar should be considered
Routing of drain line which expels condensation should be considered in installation planning
MOUNTING OPTIONS:
Floor mounting – unit should be elevated on a platform
Wall mounting- local codes and load-bearing capabilities of the wall should be verified
Ceiling mounting- local codes and load-bearing capabilities of the joists should be verified. Units need to be level. Vibration dampers are recommended
Inside the cellar-condenser exhaust should be ducted out of the room

DUCT PORT LOCATIONS:
CellarMate units have two sections: condenser and evaporator. Return air from the cellar enters the unit through the evaporator section; supply air through any one or two of the three supply ports or evaporator section (top or sides of the unit).
Ambient or conditioned air enters the condenser section at the end of the unit. Condenser exhaust is ducted out of one of the three exhaust ports (top or sides of the unit) also on the condenser section. See diagram. |
